Caco-2也称作Caco2。细胞系源自一位72岁男性结直肠腺癌患者。细胞生长稳定，繁殖旺盛，细胞群体倍增时间62小时。细胞系表达热稳定肠毒素(Heat Stable Enterotoxin和表皮生长因子受体(Epidermal Growth Factor，EGF)，角蛋白(Keratin)，视黄酸结合蛋白(Retinoic Acid Binding Protein 1)，视黄醇结合蛋白2(Retinol Binding Protein 2)阳性。

Caco-2细胞系(Caco-2 Cell Line)为人结直肠腺癌细胞，上皮样贴壁生长，培养条件为含MEM +20% FBS完全培养液。细胞消化为胰酶EDTA消化液，吹打尽量轻柔。

无菌包装。完全培养液或液氮冻存。
